are august regents hard?

I don’t believe that the august regents examinations are any more difficult than those administered in June and January. It all comes down to what you know, and what you don’t know, for example, the august regents exams may test a topic in more depth that may be different from a topic tested in depth of June or January. So, overall, there is no order of difficulty ranging from month to month. The regents examiners try their best to disperse and test the topics evenly based on certain percentages. What assurance i can provide you with, is that it is easier to pass the regents in august because the curve is bigger in august, for example let’s say the passing score needed on a certain regents exam was to answer 25 questions correctly, in august it may drop to 20 questions to get a passing score, so in a way, the august administration is much more easier. Honestly, it generally seems as if the August regents are a lot easier than those administered during other times throughout the years.
