Applying for Loyola Marymount University! help…?

This year I’m going to be in 11th grade, I currently live in Europe and I’m graduating after 2 years. After I graduate I want to go to university but not in Europe, preferably the U.S.

I checked out some universities in the U.S and came across Loyola Marymount University. I have a few questions…

1. Since I’m in Europe how can I apply for this university?

2. What can I actually study there? (I’m interested in business)

3. Is it possible to get a scholarship?

4. Do I need a green card, if yes how can I get one?

I am also an international student.

First of all to find out more about Loyola, go on www.collegeboard.com. and on college search type Loyola Marymount University. There you will have more information about this college, including web adress of Loyola official website.

You don’t need a green card. If you are admited to a college in USA, you will get a student visa.

You can apply for scholarships if you are a good student and if you do your SAT and TOEFL good (these tests are required for admission, scholarships and financial aid)

Finally, you can find more information about applying on their official website. It is much better that you read by yourself everything about it. If you have some questions you can contact by email some of college officials, they will be happy to help you, I am sure.

There are around 4000 of colleges in USA. You will have ample choices. Loyola is good, but my advice would be to apply to more colleges.

I hope I have helped you.

You know it’s a Catholic school. It’s also one of the best in Los Angeles, next to USC and UCLA. It’s close to UCLA too.

They have an excellent broadcasting department. Their student radio station is cutting edge.

They probably have a lot of good deparments.

If you get accepted into an American University you usually can then qualify to apply for a Student Visa that allows you to stay in residence as long as you are in school or connected with doing work at school or through the school.
