Apply as what for UC Berkeley?
I’m interested in Computer Engineering. So when i apply for Berkeley, Should i apply directly into Computer Engineering? Or as undeclared Engineering? Which one will give me a better chance of getting accepted? Because when you apply as Undeclared Engineering, they have to keep a spot open for you in all the engineering majors for 2 years.
Thanks if u answer!!!!!!!!

The College of Engineering at UC Berkeley makes admission decisions by major. EECS, Bioengineering and Engineering Undeclared are the most competitive majors, so there is no advantage to applying for one or the other as far as these three majors are concerned.

you can always apply as an undeclared major and apply to the computer engineering program once you are into the program. i know at my school almost everyone has changed their major at least once and all programs have prereqs you have to fill before you can apply to a program.
my guess would be that berkeley has a larger number of slots set aside for undeclared major applicants than specific program applicants.
to be on the safe side, call the computer engineering department and ask them.
good luck!

they’re going to ask to your very final transcripts, and would opposite judgements in keeping with them – shifting out of your AP instructions won’t make it easier to there. you likely want 3 years of a language to be common, so which you will desire to end Spanish 3 if that’s the case. shifting right down to primary is larger than dropping a direction fullyyt.

i heard almost half of the class changed major..
too hard, too harsh grades
