Answering “why do you want to attend this university?” in college application?
My counselor suggested thinking about “creative ways” to respond to this statement, but didn’t elaborate.
How would/did you answer this question? What approach did you take?

I researched the history of my university, and discovered many more reasons why I wanted to go there – a list of celebrity alumni, for example. If anything, you can use any facts you find as essay filler. Conclude that you, too, want to become a part of (insert university here)’s illustrious history.
