All girls high school or co-ed?

OKay so I’m going into 8 grade and I have to make the High school decision soon. My parents say I have to go to a Catholic high school. There’s 2 in my area. An all girls one and a co-ed one.

Co-ed one: Better parties, All my friends will go here

Not very good academic program, In it’s history very few people got into Ivy league schools

All girls: Great academic system, Close to my house.

No boys 🙁 , bad sports team.

I know I’d have a better future at the all girls school… I just think I’d have more fun at a co-ed one.

Please give me serious answers.

I see that you should go to the all girls school. Think about where you will receive the better academic program instead of the best parties. If your friends go the co-ed school, you’ll still get in the better parties anyway. Enjoy your experience!

I truly enjoyed my single-sex high school. I found that I was better equipped for college and for later learning, more confident, and more focused than my compatriots from coeducational schools, even coeducational schools of the same academic caliber. I’ve heard other girls from my class express the same feeling. It’s not for everyone, but we found it was what was right for us.

There is plenty of time for really kickin’ parties in college — plus, you’ll see your friends other places, and may still have relationships with them. It’s not like they disappear because you go to different high schools!

Your choice of college will be a lot more important to you later in life than the parties you got to attend in high school, so make your best decision — IF you check out the all-girls and it looks like a fit for you.

just dont base your answer on the co-ed one because there are boys. your only a freshman; do the all-girls one this year and the co-ed next year. or vice versa.
