AAT age and going on to qualify as an accountant?
Hi,
I am about to start an AAT course from foundation – technician in September, I will be doing one day a week for the next 3 years. After which I have the ambition to go on to qualify for my full ACA status. The only problem is im now 24, will I be too old to get the trainee positions once Ive finished my aat’s. I am worried as I am currnetly working in customer services and already struggling to find general remedial accounts roles, which i can do during and may help my studies.

I recommend you speak to someone in your company and ask their advice on how to proceed. Or, if you know someone working in this career, ask them how they did it. Most people are happy and willing to answer your questions if you are not asking them for a job.
