A Level Advice?

I’m in my second year for A Level and I have recently dropped Design because it wasn’t for me. Now I only have 3 A Levels, and although i’m at AAA – ABB average I feel like I should be doing a 4th A Level.

Pros:

– Will help me out in Uni when I have a little something extra

– Will broaden my range of courses I can pick in Uni

– Many people are doing 4 A Levels (But many people are doing 3 also)

Cons:

– None of the subjects appeal to me

– The career I want suits in with my current A Levels perfectly

– I have a lot of free periods now, and I enjoy it =D

– More work, which may lower my average in other subjects…

Advice is much appreciated =)

If you are in you second year, and have only just dropped design then that means you still have an AS-Level in Design though right?? In which case continue with your 3 A-Levels ans by the time you finish 2nd Year you will have 3 A-Levels and an AS-Level, which is exactly what i did.

You will find that nearly all universities only ask for 3 grades as 95% of students only study 3 A-Levels. So, in theory, that extra AS-Level will give you an advantage. Plus, only doing 3 A-Levels allows you to focus more on your studies as you have more free time xx
