This come back is kind of “old school” but still works some of the time. Back in the day Yo mama come backs were like fine wine. Like, Oh yeah, Yo mama has wooden boobs and breast feeds beavers. Now, I guess it’s been shortened to Your Mom. Sad news that is. It’s a sign of the diminishing poetic times we live in.

It’s just a playful kind of joke that comes from the “Your Mom…” jokes. Now it’s basically just become a saying when someone is trying to jokingly insult someone.

They think its funny and cleaver I guess. At my school, whenever someone says they are going to do something, even something as simple as say:
“I’m going to my locker after lunch.”
The other person will say:
“Do it you won’t”
And of course we also have the “Your mom” thing too. It’s just one of those things…
