Did I do better on the ACT or SAT?
I need to know which one I did better on so that I know which one to retake?
SAT (2400) w/ writing: 1360
ACT w/ writing: 19

You pretty much got the same score on both tests. There is a conversion chart that you can compare scores and stuff. The link for it is:

On each test there should be some percentages comparing your score with all of the scores. It should say something like 50%. Compare those to get a rough idea. Colleges are used to a slightly higher percentage on the ACT because more able students take the SAT. So if you have 49% on the SAT and 51% on the ACT, that would be considered equal.

The two are about the same, for the ACT the highest possible score is a 36, so it is about average. As for which one to retake, it really depends on where you plan to go to college because most colleges in certain regions take really only one of the tests into deep consideration. I know that western states take the SAT more into consideration, and the more Midwestern states are more focused on the ACT but I don’t know about the other regions.

It looks like you did on your Sat…
I don’t have any idea on your Act….But,my son and my niece did re-take both the Act,and Sat at least 2 if not more than that to reach the highest grade they could. It helped them graduate with the best potential for scholarships and the $$ rolling in.. So good luck!!

both scores are excellent! Good job! But definetely the SAT is the best, 19 is pretty much average as far as ACT goes.
