How does a 27 on the ACT compair to the SAT pointwise?
does anyone know how to convert the points?

There is a correlation though not charted by the official test providing companies. Colleges often report their own statistics for SATs and ACTs and create charts to show the relationship between them.
According to the University of California’s chart- a 27 ACT score is equivalent to a 1240-1270 out of 1600 or an 1860-1910 out of 2400.

I dont think it converts. The admissions look at it on 2 different scales.
