Is a 1780 on the SATs a good score?
That’s the score I got and I’m not sure if I did well or not. I’m not going to apply to Ivy League schools because I’m sure I won’t get in but I’m hoping to at least get in somewhere decent. I’m also in the IB Programme and have a 3.2 GPA (unweighted). Thanks!

Here are some rough, unofficial estimates of the average SAT score at various schools. The average isn’t necessarily the score you need to get into a college–there are plenty of factors other than SAT score at work, and by definition half of the students at any school are below the average. But it’s a good ballpark figure if you’re trying to decide whether your SAT score is good enough.
Harvard – 2200
Williams – 2125
University of Virginia – 2000
UCLA – 1900
Iowa State – 1825
Ohio State – 1800
DePaul – 1750
Arizona – 1700
Indiana University- 1650

To me i think 1780 is a wonderful score for SAT because sats are difficult to pass if you didn’t work soo hard. I hope i get a 1800 and 1780 would do good for me. If you have a chance to retake it, definetly go retake it over again, that goes the same for someone with 2200 or someone with 1500.

Sats in basic terms define your instruments at secondary college. that is been 6 years on account that I did mine. particularly common, do not concern approximately your score, plus that is in trouble-free terms the mock ones! ask your instructor in case you like extra help. feels like the score is powerful tho!

It’s not absolutely good.. but not bad. Though it’s leaning more towards the bad. Retake it and try again ! another 4 hours wasted on SATs !

it’s okay for what it appears you can do.
