Nurses are in demand all over the world. If you are in the UK then you are looking at some places cutting back. The pay in the uk isnt that great… ( I was a nurse in the uk.).
The lifestyle and working conditions are imortant … My wife is an American nurse.. SHe works her in the usa earning twice the amount i earned in the uk. I basically stay at home look after our little one.. Because we can afford for me to do that…
What you have to look at is.. standard of living for the pay you get… For example… in the Uk … your pay is heavily taxed… your home is expensive to buy, you pay a lot for gas ( petrol)
Here in florida.. you dont pay state income tax home well … are now more expensive. but not as bad as the uk you get a lot more for your money. You pay for health care ( you do in the uk to its called national insurance) food is less expensive in the usa. as is gas (petrol) basically your money goes a lot further.
So what you have to do is research the country where you want to work…. and look carefully..,, to be honest if you have a Nursing Degree and Rn from USA its easier get certification in any country. If you want to work in the USA however, you ave to get certified in the Usa you you have to sit exams here…
shame there isnt a reciprocal understanding between the USA and the UK… I know of many nurses who want to work in the USA and Many Americans who want to work in the UK
need to attend to their old citizens who comprise ar least
60% of their population These countries are mostly in
Europe and North America. The output of nurses in these
countries cannot cope with the needs of hospitals and other
private institutions caring for old people and that is why
every year nurses mostly coming from the Philippines
go to these countries. Presently, Japan, China and Taiwan
are in needof additional nurses.

Training to be a nurse guarantees a job in the future, seriously. They’re needed everywhere – I definitely know Taiwan needs nurses, although they’re underpaid. A nurse tends to like 10 people at once. Well, that’s what a friend of mine says.
