writing a speech?
I have to do a speech tonight for class and I have done nothing. I have to have powerpoint with it. It has to be 7-9 minutes. I’m thinking of doing it on a recent trip i took to italy 2 weeks ago. I went to florence and venice…would this be long enough?

you are messed up. you should of not waited till the last minute to do this. a 7-9 min speech is about 10-15 pages(double spaced) depending on how fast you speak. and big font and bold print will not help you here…. sorry 🙁

It can be enough, depending on how you use it. You should have a lot of detail – not on family and friends you visited, or parties you went to, but on the tourist/historical attractions, assuming you visited them. Let’s say you choose 5/6 things you did. In Venice… there are many architectural wonders, churches, bridges, etc. The city itself is fascinating! So whether or not you visited these places, choose a few and research them! Find out about their history, architecture, etc. Also get background information on Venice, Florence and Italy. You should find enough info for 1 or 2 slides per attraction, and most slides play for at least 1 min. PPT should be basic – one font, one background, one transition, etc. to do it quickly.
