College major?
my parents are pushing me 2 major in general business, but I want to do design work…i love to draw and create. How can I merge the two of them together so we are both happy?

I am a graphic designer, which basically means that I am an artist at creating magazine ads, advertising, and layout. I get to play with color, type, grids, and use really cool computer programs which allow me to bring my drawings and art to life. It is so cool to have an idea and be able to put into a functioning piece of work that many people see. It may make your parents happy because graphic designers are always in demand, you could work for a large shop, or run your own business. Some schools have degrees that are more business-orientated and will make you take a mix of business and hands on graphics work.
