/ means divison

simple

sum means addition

sum of m and n (m+n)

difference of m and n (m-n)

m + n/m-n maybe?? Makes me think it is a fraction.

Like, keeping the values the same: 7 + 4/ 7-4 = 11/3 = 3 2/3

its m + n divided by m – n

you can make it look like a fraction, or just slap the division sign in between the two terms.

sum…add.

difference…subtract.
