What is an interesting book segment i could use for an oral presentation?
other students chose books like lolita and the brothers grimm. this is for a highschool report, anyone have any interesting, attention catching stroies or books you could recommend?

have you read nineteen minutes by jodi picoult? it’s about a school shooting & the psychology of all the people involved, including the shooter’s parents

For your grade level but there would be a number of great passages from “Esperanza Rising” or ” The Grapes of Wrath” if you have any interest in the Great Depression.
They are both very intersting and relevant stories.
Or use historical fiction like “This Vast Land” about the Lewis & Clark expedition.
