I need help gathering data for a statistics project?
Is there a web site that has data that I can use for a statistics project. I need to compare two different independent sample means. For example: “Does a Quarter pounder weigh the same at McDonalds and Burger King?” It does not have to relate to food, but i just need to compare two different means.

Google “Department of Labor Statistics.” I believe this is a part of the United States Commerce Department.”
They have a HUGE data base, available, on salaries for various job categories across geographical locations. There, you can make comparisons, for instance, on what a teacher may earn in a big city in California, versus what an educator earns in rural Kansas.
You can find large demographic areas and more thinly populated locations. (as you probably already know, the larger the sample, the smaller your margin of error.)
Lots and lots of data to sort through and sift.
