I. Communism
The advantages of communism (theoretically) are:
1. Everyone has a voice.
2. Everyone works for the common good.
3. There is no upper, middle, or lower class.
The disadvantages of communism (reality on earth) are:
1. The will to work to better one’s self is broken down since there is zero advancement in society.
2. There are those who want to control others that get involved in the political system and corrupt it.
3. True Communism has not been tested out on Earth because it is impossible to achieve with today’s mindset and technology. All communism so far has been dictatorships under a weak veil of secrecy.
II. Constitutional Monarchy
The advantages of a constitutional monarchy are:
1. There is no need for costly nationwide elections with one head of state until death and succession.
2. A wise figure head is able to reign for a long period of time. This eliminates the choppy political 4 and 8 year political cycles (ie United States of America).
3. The King or Queen (Emperor or Empress) does not have complete control over the government thus allowing the people to have some rights and freedoms under the constitutional status.
The disadvantages of a Constitutional Monarchy:
1. There is one figure head without change until death or war.
2. The person could be idolized and possibly could have the power to change the constitution with a swift military coup.
3. If there is no direct sucessor what happens to the country? It may fall to another country’s king or queen therefore changing the sovreignty.
III. Republic:
The advantages of a republic are:
1. There are elected officials able to make decisions for the greater good without the eligible voters taking more time out of their day than necessary.
2. In some republics every constituancy has an equal voice in the legislature.
3. The best representative and most likely the moderate moderate could be elected to the presidency by the legislature.
The disadvantages of a republic:
1. Voting graft and corruption of politicians (can happen in communism and a constitutional monarchy too),
2. A single voter has no say other than around election time.
This all really depends on the cultures that these types of governments are being implimented in.
A: an attempt for the workers to own the means of production
D: hasn’t worked on a large basis, so far
CM:
A: has a constitution, so has guidelines, and the monarch is mostly a figurehead
D: still a republic (see below)
Republic:
A: has “smart” people voting for what will happen in society instead of the “dumb” common people
D: doesn’t let the common people vote for what they want in society.
they dont work for the people, they work for themselves.
