“Our world is Riding on Gunfire” against da motion…..?

Spits of pain, fire, the heat of battle, the coldness of death. They march over the dust that was once the bones of them that fell so long ago. One day, they too will dirty the boots of a soldier, with daylight in his brain and air in his nostrils, never knowing it went black in a second. To such folly mankind has spun our world, riding on gunfire, into an insanity that proves only that evolution is a very slow process. But it pays the armorer you might point out, and the others, who toil and sweat to put that soldier on that field. How else might they live? How else might the world go round if not on gunfire? Since one group of cavemen killed another for their food, nothing has changed except the way in which we do it. Our civilizations are built upon it, or cultures and monetary systems thrive because of it. Empire after empire rise and fall on this very enterprise. Yes, the world is riding on gunfire.
