a point is equidistant fr. (-2,4) and (3.5). it is also equidistant fr. (-2,-3) & (6,-1).find the points.?

You have to call the unknown point x,y and set up two equations for two variables. Use distance equation for each set of points.
Distance from x,y to -2,4 equals distance from x,y to 3,5. First equation
Distance from x,y to -2,-3 equals distance from x,y to 6,-1. Second equation
Solve simultaneous equations. Solve first equation for y in terms of x and “plug in” to the second equation. That will leave one equation in one variable. I assume you can take it from there. If not, I try to post image of solution.
Plot them out, and it will be easier to find the center point.
(Hint, when you find your answer- all above points will be exactly 5 combined horizontal and vertical marks away)
