Hmm. Writing a diamond shaped poem can be a challenge all by itself, never mind adding the requirement for contrasting nouns. Or is that part of your assignment?

It’s easier to choose a theme for your poem first, and then look for the contrasts that will help you fill it out.

Once you do that, make your framework for the diamond, and fill in phrases. You’ll have to play with them to get it to fit, but it can be done.
