I’m assuming you mean 3/(sqrt6-sqrt2), meaning the 3 is on the top of the fraction by itself.
Multiply by the fraction (sqrt6+sqrt2)/(sqrt6+sqrt2). This procedure is called rationalizing the denominator. The directions to this problem would actually be simplify or rationalize, not solve. You can only solve something if it has an equal or inequality sign.
Your answer would end up as (3(sqrt6+sqrt2))/ 4.
