11th and 12th class, these two years are very crucial years of one life, and career, especially for an indian student who has opted SCIENCE. let me appreciate your thinking for your future plans as an IITian. see, IIT is not difficult as such nor is qualifying AIIMS or BITSpilani. all what matters is ur regularity accompanied my concentration[ taking into granted that u are determined to clear IIT].
there are about 1500 seats in IIT across india[idont know the exact no.]. and abt 1.5 to 1.75 lakh students give xam every year, including droppers also[some students are so much determined that they dont mind dropping 2-3 yrs for getting into IIT ]. but you must work well so that you clear it in 1st attempt.
if u r very clear with the topics of ur subjects and u regularly solve different books prescribed for IIT, assure your self that u can crack IIT.
b.tech and m.tech is another very good option, b.tech is of 4yrs. and m.tech is of 2 yrs.. doing MBA from a reputed business school after b.tech id another very good option. u can earn really good in that case and always have job prospectives in abroad.
but it [b.tech] should be from a good institution.
you must definitely give AIEEE because in almost all colleges n universities AIEEE score is taken into consideration for admission. also u must give cet of BIRLA INSTITUTE [bits] IT IS A VERY GOOD AND REPUTED INSTITUTION.but for this exam you must have 80%in +2.
it is adviced to join some coaching institute that prepares u for iit.like brilliant tutorials, fitjee, narayna n many more…
many books come in market specially for IITJEE which u can refer and solve MCQs.
