it cannot be done…
because addition of two odd number always gives a Even no.
so for the first eight pillars if we tie in group of odd numbers it sums upto a even number.
50-even.no =a even.no so the ninth group must be of even no.
if some pillars can be left empty we can do

tie them up however you want as long as they are odd, because your question says they “can be tied to nine pillars” not that you need to use all nine
