Do you think there is a high chance for me to pass?

Ok, I’m serious so please don’t be rude.

My GPA is 1.65 and my question is: Is there a high chance I can make it to a 2.0 or higher? Am I still going to be a senior? Can I pass High School?

I really worked my butt off last school year and I don’t understand why its still so low. I have problems with my councelor, like she also screwed up with my sister about some of the subjects which by the next year she has to take it in night school or she won’t pass.

I can’t believe and trust if my councelor is screwing with me or its really my fault. For the mean time all I ask is if I work more harder, can I still pass?

Don’t go through your counselor, if they’re determined not to help you…go straight to your teachers. Ask if you can have a few minutes, then explain that you would really like to turn things around. Then do whatever they tell you to – seriously. If they’re willing to give you extra credit, jump at it. Ask if you can take an independent study course. Whatever you have to do.

I started 10th grade with a 1.8, ended up with a 3.6 after the first semester of 12th. It is possible, but it’s going to mean a year filled with hard work. Just be very up front about it, be attentive and respectful in class, and ask your teachers if there’s anything you don’t understand.

It is going to be hard work, but if your willing to commit to it, then I think you should get it up. If you think your counselor is messing your grades up, I would monitor your grades yourself. If your doing better in classes and you still don’t understand why you have such a low GPA, talk to the counselor or talk to your teachers. They should know how to figure GPA and I’m sure they would be willing to help you. Good Luck!!!

Go right to the head of the school district. Explain your problem and what you want to accomplish. Counselors are supposed to help you reach your goals not deter you

try doing all the extra credit you can and try to get an A on all ur tests and homework. if u do that, u should be able to pass. good luck
