A number of successful Math experiences will not only teach you some Math but change the aura of failure.
The question is how can you learn math.
You apparently have had some good experiences with learning Math by using a tutor. The disadvantage is that you forget what you have learned when the tutor leaves.
First, you need to make sure that you understand and become adept at the fundamentals.A major reason that students do poorly in Math is that they do not have the background and since math is in many cases sequential they cannot grasp or remember the new work. The suggestion is to go over past work and see that you understand it. It is good that you ask now since you may have more time during the summer vacation. While worry is bad, as explained above, it does have its good point in that you show concern about doing well.
There are methods for you to receive additional math help that you recognize is needed. Such as
frequently review your work
have friends, parents, or neighbors assist you
many schools have extra class time for math
speak to your guidance counselor and math teacher and ask for help
many schools provide after school help sessions
hire a math tutor who is knowledeable and encouraging
there may be free tutoring given by sosical and religious organizations
there are free on line tutoring sites one that has live teachers is at www. pathwhelp.org, another that provides for the posting and answers to questions is www.jiskha.com and of course you can post specific math questions here at Yahoo.
I hope that you follow at least som of these suggestions and that you meet with success in Math
