Schools and computers?
My kids will start back school soon, and I got a flyer on what they will need for school, and I can’t afford some of the stuff on the list. The schools are making it harder for me to buy things for my kids, Stuff like a USB flash driver what on earth will they need that for,

A USB flash drive is a mass storage devise that easily allows you to store computer information. If they are using computers in school this will allow them to save there data to a personal hard drive they can carry with them. Think of the as the old storage diskettes with 100 times the storage space. They are not expensive and can be found in most stores (WalMart, Best Buy) for $10 – $20.

they need USB flash drive to transfer their work from school to home. Yes pencil and paper is how it was, but now its about convience. Also, in their time, Technology will be more important. Eventually it will be about how fast you can type, not how well you can write.

Call the school and speak with the principal. See if they have any ideas. It seems to me regular disks or RW/CDs should work just as well and are a lot cheaper.
