Let n – number of adult tickets, 1500-n the number of student tickets. Value of the adult tickets would be 12n, value of the student tickets would be 6(1500-n). (Six bucks, right?) The real problem is the total value of the tickets sold, and you didn’t include that information. If you know it, just write the equation 12n + 6(1500-n) = total, then solve the equation.

Easy my dear Watson. 50% is half off of 12. So each ticket is 6 dollars. How many of the tickets were student tickets? If they all were then Multipy 1500 times 6 . and the answer is ????? There is info missing here.
