Who funds foreign language education?
I’m doing a project for my school management class and I wanted to do it on foreign language education, and why cutting it from elementary school is a bad idea. Any idea on where funding comes from for foreign language education? The importance of it during elementary school? And most importantly, any resources I may look at for my project?

Most States use Property Taxes as the primary source of Education funding, with a percentage coming from the Federal Government.
Comtact your County and/or State Treasurer to see how it is done in your state.
Cuts usually start at the State Legislature and step down to county manager/commissioners., then to local school boards. Contact your local Board of Edcation and the State Board for Comparison’s for all your questions.
American Education is based on Local control.

we should get foreign language education is elementary so that when kids get into high school / college and onward they should be able to be fluent in the language.
