pointers on middle school?

Just be yourself ;

Don’t do anything because someone else wants you to .

Keep your grades up ,

& don’t worry about getting lost ,or being late on the first day .

Many kids do.

My first day of middle school ,

I was going into my 4th period class ,

but I accidentally went into my 5th period class instead .

I wasn’t the only one.

You should always come prepared with notebooks and pens.

Have a planner to write down your homework.

Don’t be snobby or arrogant.

Never talk about nothing.

Be clever, yet kind.

Don’t suck up to the teachers.

Don’t try and show of your fashion skills. If you wanto dress cute, dress simply.

Don’t act immature of start teasing someone if they like a guy or something. Just be causal, and mature, and say things like, “Yeah, he’s cute. You can ask him out if you want. Never hurts to try.”

And if someone find out about your crush, just be like, “Yeah, he’s sute, huh? I’ll probably ask him out.”

Don’t be gross.

Wear deoderant ALL the time!!!

Don’t talk for too long about your problems to your friends.

Always give a helping hand, even to boys and teachers.

Never gossip about anyone!!!!!

if you have a cellphone or if you don’t: if the your cellphone is dead(batteries) have about a dollar in your locker in a safe place incase you need to call home

lunch: keep about 3-4 dollars (depending on how much it cost for lunch) incase you left your lunchbox or forgot to bring money

classes: if you have a map of the school make a path with a pencil or something of where your classes are so you can plan out where to go

backpack: even though some messenger bags are bigger than regular backpacks i’ve seen people dislocate their shoulder because of them

locker: take a pack of stick-notes and glue a flat magnet on the back of them, they helped when i forgot my agenda

supplies: keep at least on extra of a pencil, pen, binder, folder, paper in case you leave your stuff at home

getting 2 class on time if you have a class after lunch: i bring my books and things that i need for my 5th hour class (class after lunch) so i can get there on time

*and good luck with middle school! it was pretty easy for me just try to keep your grades up now cause it’s harder to keep them up in high school and try as many clubs as you can. Theater is really fun (i’m in it lol) if your in the crew or cast and sports are too.

Basically have fun, because its going to be the most lenient years before entering HS. just have all that stuff you need, do WELL in class and try taking all hnrs classes during 8th grade so that you do well during 8th grade also and have great classes during freshmen year in HS. as said be yourself and have fun with friends. how you dress really doesn’t matter i believe until your 8th grade year. i personally don’t care about my clothing. i just take w/e i want.

you should always remember your locker combo. lol. hmm also don’t get an expensive calculator… save the ti-89’s for hs years when you take pre calc. or trigonometry.

All i can say is try hard in middle school cuz it makes high school easy.

And also watch your crew in middle school cuz thats when kids either change for better or for worse.

make the best out of it becasue its the last years were you cna actually have fun… get good grades becasue what you do now will afftect you in high schools… so good grades, ok good luck!!
