What high school courses should I take?

If I want to be something in the area dealing with computers? Such as computer graphics…

Im a junior now and I need classes that will help me in that area of profession.

business courses, accounting, communications courses (speaking and writing). Trig, algebra, geometry, shop-courses that make you think logically.

If you are interested in graphics-take art courses.

Notice that I didn’t include a single computer course! I find that a great deal of time is spent in communicating with people, including doing presentations. A lot of time is also spent understanding the business and/or accounting aspects to apply the programming skills. You can pick up the programming skills easily enough in college. You will need the business courses.

Learn to think logically. Planning, estimating then executing (wood shop is good for that). Math courses will also help you think through a problem logically. Especially those good ole story problems.

For the graphics, take some art courses to get an idea of what looks good.
