what is the difference between singapore ‘o level’ and ‘a level’?
I’m aware that ‘o level’ can be used to apply polytechnic, while ‘a level’ can be used to apply polytechnic OR universities. but how about the subjects we learn in them? what are the subjects in ‘o level’ and what are in ‘a level’? I need someone to explain it to me elaborately. anyone?

Normally in Singapore, O-level exams are taken at the end of our 4 to 5 year secondary school education. O-level results can then be used to apply for both polytechnics and junior colleges/centralised institute. A-level exams are taken at the end the 2-year junior college or 3-year centralised institute course. A-level results are then used to apply for universities, not polytechnics

O’level is usually a test you give after a 2-3 years of preparation. Like from 8th to 10th grade. There are a lot of subjects (usually one student takes 6-8) you can choose, from arts to science and commerce.
A’level begins after you’re done with O’level. Usually you take 2-4 subjects and become specialized in one or two particular fields so that you can do your higher studies in any of those fields.
