Are American school students disciplined ?
Favorite Answer
An area which might suggest a difference in discipline is the relatively low representation of native-born Americans in graduate study of many of the hard sciences in American universities. I believe it is indicative of higher levels of discipline in foreign school systems, but there might be other factors I’m not considering, so it’s not something I feel confident in claiming.
The question is much to general to be answered accurately.
I would say not as much as we would like, there are to many social “grey area’s” and people have a real fear of standing up and saying “this is right, and this is wrong”.
I would say since both parents, and society ;re-enforced by the media, pop culture and schools have indulged young people too much, they often sail the waters without a moral compass, leading to a lack of self discipline, but as they grow, and mature many snap out of it and get real; unfortunately some people are content, and choose to stay in lala land.
It all boils down to people making CHOICES.
