After I payed my tuition and used my money at the the campus book store, they sent me a check for the remaining money. One semester I got $800 back. One year I even bought my sister in law some books at the bookstore on my account and they covered it.

Well if you get a grant and you take care of all your school expenses and there is money left over… it’s yours. It will be presented to you in the form of a check in most cases but some colleges will deposit it into your personal account if you like and sometimes even before the first day of school. Hope this helped.

you should always accept the full amount offered of grants because that is free money. if you don’t need it for tuition, use it for books or even for your living expenses. again, this is free money that you NEVER have to pay back!! If you accepted the full amount and it was more than you needed for tuition you will get a check from the school for the remainder.

The money is returned to you. You have to remember that the money is yours once you receive the grant~
