Losing home and everything in it! Anyone have $25,000 they could loan until we get back on our feet?
I know this is a silly question! We can’t get a regular loan because we have both lost our jobs. Depression is really bad and there is no where to turn. What to do?

I say try to get jobs as soon as possible and then see if someone would cosign on a loan with you.

yes there is alot you can do.#1 count your blessings like: your together #2 be glad you only need 25 thousand #3 your in that position for a reason to learn from it almost everyone has been there at one time or other. Feel the pain of depression and take one step away from it as soon as you can. GOOD LUCK!………great question!

Actually there ARE places to turn to. You may contact your local Red Cross (here they will help you buy new clothes, etc.) Also call you closest Salvation Army. They can help as well. I know you may not want to but call your local welfare office-they may have programs to help you with until you both can get a job.

Unfortunately, most of the posters on this site (I am an exception) are under the age of 16. No jobs and certainly no large amounts of $$$$
I understand your “pain”…however…you need to do what the rest of us are doing…get a job…

I wouldn’t feel comfortable loaning money to someone without a job.

that’s terrible! I wish i knew someone to help you but most people probably wouldnt considering that you don’t have a job or a source of money. You will be in my prayers and i hope things work out for you!
