i think that quote is true because if people don’t learn there history they will probabaly end up repeating it.

I think that whoever came up with this missed the entire point of the phrase “history repeats itself.” The point of that quote is that when man fails to learn from history, history is repeated. Anyone with even a little bit of common sense is expected to understand that OBVIOUSLY, history doesn’t have a mind of it’s own and man’s actions determine history.

Grow a brain.

I think it means that mankind repeats the same mistakes and doesn’t learn from them. And though history is not always the same, similar things happen that reminds us of past incidents. And of course, we make history.

…..I don’t quite agree with this quote because most of the time, man does learn from past incidents,and they don’t have to necessarily be mistakes.
