shouldnt it be if love didn’t exsist?
no one ive talked to has been able to make up their minds. yes i do know it is lyrics by Boys Night Out. any polite ensightful help is appreciated.

It is “if love didn’t exist” as we all know that love DOES exist.

Maybe it’s saying in a backwards way that knowing for real love exists would make us stronger. Rather than wondering if this amazing thing is really happening, we could know and be confident in that. Then, instead of mourning the loss of love, then wondering if it was really love, we would know, without question, that love was real, and we would not be so “soft and easy to ruin.”

i would say its correct
the reason why we, as humans, are so soft and fragile is because we never know if we are truly experiencing love. If love were something that one knew they were possessing in the fullest, we wouldn’t be afraid and wouldn’t be as fragile
