Can I SWITCH my right view MIRROR downward in order to CHECK THE DISTANCE from the CURB in DRIVER’S ROAD TEST?
Will the tester care if i switch the mirrow downward in order to see clearly how far my car from the curb (to avoid my car hitting the curb…)during my parallel parking of the driver’s road test?
thanks

All they want to know is that you can do it, and do it safely. They don’t care how.

If you position the mirror ahead of time when you first enter the car so that the curb is visible, you should be ok. Don’t do it right before you park. I always position my mirrors that way. The entire curb doesn’t have to take up the mirror just at the bottom.
Good Luck!

Couldn’t hurt to try! I didn’t have to parallel park on my test, but there aren’t a lot of opportunities for me to parallel park in this small town.
If they don’t want you to do it, they will let you know.

OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR
Judge for yourself. based on that, I wouldn’t.
