I got an interview at this job and they want me to come in for orientation? What is orientation and wha do I do?

Orientation is your introduction to the company and the job you applied for including the responsibilities, duties and everything you need to know about how to perform them. I’d say you pretty much got the job. Congratulations!

Orientation is when you go in, meet people you will work with, learn about your responsibilities, and learn the layout of the building you will work in. Dress nice, bring a pen and notebook in case you need to take any notes. Be very professional and hide your nervousness with a smile and firm handshake.

you are basically going their to learn about the job and what would be expected of you. its basically showing you the job duties so you can decide if that’s the type of job you really want.

it’s an introduction basically. but usually it’s for people starting the new job, not for prospectives… so that’s a little odd.
