i want to train dogs for handicapped people. How do you get training for this?

I think it depends on how much experience you currently have training and working with dogs. If you don’t really have any, you may want to start by volunteering at the local shelter. They need all sorts of volunteers. The folks I’ve known who’ve done this were all breeders themselves…usually a Labrador – golden or black. They were responsible, good breeders who took care of their dogs. A dog of mine actually came out of a program that trains dogs for therapy and assistance dogs…she (the dog) didn’t pass that school and was sold as a pet. She’s an awesome pet, too!
