I am considering going back to college for teaching. What qualifications must I meet in ALabama to get a job teaching while I attend school at night?

It would depend on the college you want to get into. Some want more qualifications, and some aren’t worried about what you have. You need to either find the website of the college (or colleges, if you have several in mind to choose from), or contact the college by phone. Maybe you could even make an appointment to see someone at the college and ask them directly.

You need to check with the Certification Specialist in the Teacher Education Program you are planning o attend school.
Some states are making it easier to become a teacher because of the shortage.
The degree program may vary from place to place.
