Is Kumon a good program.?
Well, I get to do Kumon for free. Because mom is a Kumon Instructor in Alaska. But I get really bored. And before mom became an instructor, I went to Sylvan. It was fun. But didn’t help as much. Then when I did Kumon, It was not fun but helped a lot. Which 1 would u rather prefer.

I was in Kumon for a few years, and I really hated it. I hated how they timed you, etc. I hated the homework they made you take home.. but then again, I was only 11. I’m 23 now.
It did hlep. I was really poor in math, and the whole summer I was doing Kumon…and when I went into my next year at school, I got the highest mark on the math test. It really helped with making me think quicker and just with basic times tables and divison. I just knew off the top of my head.. and all that basically helped when I had to take harder math programs.
I dunno. I hated it, but as I got older I realized how much it helped.

Many students go to Kumon for a year or more and never get any further then when they started. I’ve known 4 kids in the last year that started at Kumon and switched to Sylvan because it worked better.
