Does anyone have proof that Thomas Alva Edison was born in Zacatecas,Mexico?

What sort of proof are you looking for ? Documentation of his birth records ? Or just credible sources proving he was born there.

Try looking at your local library theres always a guarantee that if they don’t have what you need another library will and they will get it for you.

There are many schools named after him in Mexico. Because his step father traveled there and worked there as a young man, people who knew him (Edison) as a very young child, are of the belief he was adopted by his step father and left Mx.

I have seen at least one picture of him in Mexico, as an adult, surrounded by high ranking government people, one of whom is the great uncle of a friend of mine.

Doesn’t sound like much proof but neither would it surprise me that we (US) would not want it known that one of America’s grandest inventors was Mexican, born in Mexico.

PS, his light shin and appearance means little. I am Hispanic and have many relatives who are light skinned, blond haired,with blue and green eyes.
