What to wear in Washington?
I’m from Hawaii, and moving to Pullman in Washington (Eastern Washington) to go to WSU. I’m a bit ignorant in what to wear there, and I hear it’s fairly dry, but gets ******* cold. I don’t know at all what people wear in that area and don’t want to look like a fool when I’m walking around! Thanks to anyone that can provide any help!

Moving to from Hawaii to Washington is a big change. I would suggest jeans, t-shirts, jackets that can be layered, a fleece pullover, and in winter a heavy coat, also a rain jacket. An LL Bean catalog would be just the ticket to look at warm trendy winter clothes. Or you can visit their website. Also, I don’t know if Hawaii has an Old Navy store. Old Navy carries warmer winter clothing that’s trendy in the winter, and they also have a website you can visit. For when the climate warms up in spring and summer shorts and t-shirts are fine. Plus bring your own style, plenty of people will be fascinated with your take on how to wear warmer clothing.

I live in washington.
eastern washington is drier and warmer than where I live (I live by seattle) stick to jeans and a top. bring shorts though because like I said it’s dry.
it does get cold so we all wear jeans and jackets zipped up tight.
