I have Fibromyalgia, trying to get through college and keep getting flare up, should I quit?
I have Fibromyalgia, I went back to school when I was 48, but I still have alot of problems getting the full understanding of what is beening taught. It’s just like when I was in junior high and high school. I finally quit and told myself someday, I will get it. I feel no one really cares. Understanding is worsen when I have a flare-up and I have had alot, I guess due to the rain. The depression isnt gone and I have never thought of ending my life but I will be free, to be reborned again, into a body that is better than this one, but Im a coward.

Don’t give up. I have fibro, lupus (sle), ra, and a slew of other things. But, I don’t let any of it stop me, ever. No matter how bad I’m hurting, how weak I am, I push myself waaay past my limits just to do so called normal everyday things and I push further than that on better days. No matter how long it takes me, I’m usually slower than “normal” ppl, I still do it. Grit your teeth (figure of speech), grin and bear it, you know. You can do it. Just b/c we have limitations, they don’t always have to be noticable to the world. Go back to school, but do it slowly. Take only 1 class at a time. Oh, and go through vocational rehab b/c they can find someone to help you take notes if you’re hands don’t work well (like mine). Cheer up and live life to its fullest, never give up, no matter how hard. 🙂 I know you can do it!!!
