i want to take the CFA exam, but are there any class around Los Angeles i could enrolled?

I don’t live in SoCal, so I can’t answer for sure, but Schweser, Stalla, and Passpro all offer at least one live seminar in various cities before the exam. However, in order to pass, the vast majority of the preparation will have to be independent study. I would use the live seminars to review, not learn.

You don’t need any work experience to take any of the exams, but one of the requirements to officially earn the charter after you pass level 3 is to have relevant work experience. They go on the title and job function however. Check out cfainstitute.org for work guidelines.
