Is it way too late to transfer colleges??

He will most likely have to wait, however nothing is written in stone at a college. If he can get a professor/coach/registar behind him, they can make it happen. If it was a school he already applied for and was accepted, but then decided to go elsewhere his chances would be a little better than a cold application. Either way it will be a tough uphill battle, but it is not impossible. Coming out of the military I was able to apply less than 4 weeks before the semester started and get accepted, I was just lucky there was a professor that was willing to push the paperwork through.

Tell him it is not a hopeless cause, just unlikely, but if he annoys them enough he might just make it.

it is not too late. most classes do not start til late Aug. he may not get primo classes or the schedule he wants, and he may have to pay a late registration fee. but like the others said call the school and find out. if he is trying to get into an average school, one that does not have sky high standards then he can even start classes after school begins. Better yet, he should go to a junior college and get the easy classes over with first and it is cheaper.

Classes more than likely have already commenced, so he probably won’t make the deadline for the new school. Have him call the new school (registrars office and admissions) to determine what their cut off was on registration. He will probably have to enroll 2nd semester. But he can make up that semester in the summer (take summer classes–2 classes each summer session I & II and he would have made it up in that year).

Yea he’s going to have to just go there for at least 1 semester, maybe even more.

definitely next semester since most schools start next month.
