I am 27 and back in college. I’m still lost on a major. I enjoy public speaking and money. HELP!?
I have 10 days to pick a major. I recently discovered I’m good at public speaking, I enjoy helping people, I enjoy earning lots of money, I enjoy a good lifestyle, I’ve got good communication skills, I’m not a great liar, most people like me.
I previously worked as a graphic designer, but my love for that is gone.

Congratulations on your decision to go back to college! If you are a freshman, you do not HAVE to declare a major. You may remain in university college for a minimum of two years, giving you a chance to explore many courses and interests before you declare. Also, you can change majors at any time, since at least 60 credit hours are in general education.
I highly recommend you make an appointment to meet with a career counselor at your university. S/He is very helpful and has many resources available to help you look at your career options.
Best wishes.

You could go into the fields of public relations and business. Both fields enable you to interact with people. For these types of professions, you could major in business (i.e. finance) or communication.
since you like helping people, social work and non-profit organization work is also an option, although they tend to earn less, but still a comfortable salary.

Be a communications major. You can go into the public affairs field, and utilize your ability to hear others and speak to them. It gives a lot of leeway in that you can go about doing things like you want to.
