interview questions..?

I am doing this interview on someone I look up to. I chose a college student from this particular university because in the future, I wanna be in that university. I need to come up with questions for that interview, because I really am so clueless right now. The only one question that I have come up so far is “How would you compare college and high school?”

that’s all, so far…So, if anyone can help me, please, share some questions that I can ask this college student. Thank you!

Why did that person chose that particular college.

Did that person look into other colleges first and just what was the deciding factor.

What classes is she taking?

What degree is she going for?

Ask her anything you want to know about the college.

What’s her favorite class

Favorite professor

Does she live on campus?

How’s housing?

Ask her if she’s dealt with the financial aid office, if so are they very helpful. Do they offer other scholarships?

How difficult is it to sign up for classes? Did it take a long time (standing in line) or fast over a computer? Was she able to get the classes she needed at the times she wanted them?

How many classes are in lecture halls? Or are classes smaller with more personal attention? (lecture halls are huge classes and so it is difficult to ask questions, you mostly listen)

Ask her what her advice to you would be to prepare to go to her college. What do you need to know. . .

Ask about sororities, fraternities on campus. Other clubs? Whatever interested you in high school for extracurricular activities-is it available at the college?

If you will be driving to college, how’s the parking? Are there places available or do you have to drive around and look and look for places.

Computer lab-are computers available with help when needed

Are there labs for other classes-at one college I went to if you were having problems or wanted advice on whatever you were doing, they had labs with some qualified person to give you advice or get you help of some type. There was an English lab for help with writing, a math lab for any help you needed to keep moving on, and account lab for accounting help. If you needed extra help, this was the way you could get it. At other colleges they don’t have this and you are on your own.

It’s late and it’s time for bed. . .

What opportunities do you have to interact with your professors?

What is the faculty-student ratio?

Do most students live on campus or commute? Do you live on campus? What was it like?

How good is the food?

How easy is it to get the classes you want and/or need?

Where do you get your studying done?

Do you feel safe in your dorm room? Do you feel safe walking around campus?

What is the social life like at this college? Is it considered a party school?

Do most students go away on weekends or stay on campus?

Do most students live on campus their senior year or move off campus?

If you had to make the choice again, knowing what you know now, would you choose this college?
