What do you think about Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland, Ohio??

Well, I’m planning on applying to Case Western Reserve University and I hear it’s a great school. But the main reason people have been telling me not to go there is because “It’s in Cleveland.” So I was just wondering what are some GOOD and BAD points about Cleveland (specifically where Case Western is). And also, if possible tell me some good and bad things about Case Western too, like its programs, the enviroment, what I’ll need to get in (application-wise), etc. And if I do get in should I go (your own opinion)?

THANKS!!!!

excellent school, but neighborhood made me a little nervous when I looked at school with my daughter a couple of years ago. Check it out in person before you decide. I know kids that go there and they say it is fine.

I went to Case years ago and it was an iffy neighborhood then. What I would say is to be adult and aware of your environment. Use the shuttle busses provided to the students at night. Like a good scout use the buddy system. I would say this about ANY school. Was and still is an academically wonderful school.

It is the individual that matters. Not the school.schools are composed of great indidivudals not the schools are greta and create great indidiviudals.

I have never heard anything bad about the school but to me the school does not matter, it is the student.
